Here at Woodside Cheese Wrights and Kris Lloyd Artisan we have been extremely busy with lots of exciting things happening.
We are thrilled to announce we are now exporting to the US, I am so proud of how our team has worked together to get this over the line. You can now find our cheeses Saltbush, Goat on a Hot Tin Roof, Swag, Bush Buff, Edith, Monet and even our Green Ant Cheese ANTHILL in New York, Michigan, Boston, California, Connecticut and Colorado.
Our beautiful fan favourite Monet sold out as soon as it hit the shelves and our next few orders are already on their way. This is a milestone moment for us, a tiny Adelaide Hills producer to see our cheese half way across the world is a huge thrill. We are now seeing stores in the US on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook posting about our cheese. There was particular interest in our native range which we have been producing for over 10 years. It makes us realise, once again, that we should not take for granted what we have in our own backyard, this is something not found in the US, so we can truly be competitive and give the distributor we are dealing with a point of difference to add to their portfolio.
The use of Native Australian ingredients is a great way to show the rest of the world what we are doing here with our cheese making and a great opportunity to tell a truly Australian Story.
